Tour de East Java in September 2011

International cycling tournament  Tour de East Java will be held 23 to 25 September 2011 which cross six districts in East Java divided into three stages. In contrast to previous years, the tournament this time without climbing. Executive Committee TdEJ 2011, Harijanto Tjondrokusumo, say, eight areas of Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto, Jombang, Lamongan, Gresik, Bojonegoro, Tuban. "This tournament will travel a total distance of about 460 kilometers," he said on Monday (8/22/2011). The tournament will start in Surabaya with a number of criteria as far as 48 kilometers to take the location of the streets around Surabaya City Hall.
 
In the first phase riders will travel westward route then turn north, from Surabaya via Krian (Sidoarjo)-Ploso (Kabupten Jombang) - Lamongan and finish in Gresik. From Gresik, riders will be brought back to Surabaya to attend a second stage as far as 174 kilometers with start in front of State House Youth Grahadi Street, Surabaya-Mojokerto toward Medaeng-Park-Ploso-Tripe-Lamongan-Kebomas and finish in Gresik. The third stage is 238 kilometers traveled will take the start in Gresik and then moves through Daendels Road past the north coast of Java Sea-Paciran-Tuban-Merak-Bojonegoro Sidayu Urak-Kebomas-Gresik. With this route means a route up almost nothing except a little in the Mount pegat, Lamongan.

Unlike the previous years that there is always ramp just like in Malang, Kediri through Batu, or through the region of Mount Bromo. This tournament will be followed by a number of countries that are almost never absent such as Iran, Japan, Malaysia, China, South Korea.
