AMERICAN IDOL TOP 24

*Karen Rodriguez. I found it interesting that Idol” decided not to show us her creepy Jennifer Lopez obsession until tonight. I wonder why that was. She’s in.
*Robbie Rosen. Robbie’s smoothly sailed through round after and round and did so again in his final solo performance. It would be the most music we’d hear all night and it was done softly and gently. Robbie can sing. I hope he gets a haircut though. Since he’s in.
*Tatynisa Wilson. They spent a lot of time beating around the bush with her and I’m not sure why. We barely know her. And she’s not that amazing yet. But she’s in.
*Brittany Mazur and Jimmie Allen are lumped together. They’re both out.
*Tim Halperin. He’s another one that we haven’t seen much of yet and I’m not sure why. He’s kind of awesome. And he sang an original song for his final performance. That was risky payoff because he’s in.
*Julie Zorrilla. I was team Julie last night but I’ve talked myself out of it again. I think she’s like the sixth best girl singer. She’s in.
*Scotty McCreery. What a cool guy. What a nice guy. And that voice. I’m not a country guy. At all. But I loved what we saw of his final performance. I can’t wait to see him on the stage next week singing for our votes. He’s in.
*John Wayne Schulz. Can someone please tell me why they act like there can only have ONE country singer on at a time? That’s completely messed it. So since Scotty is in, that means John Wayne is out.
*Jovany Barreto. I don’t see  him and his cocky attitude lasting past next week but he’s in.
*Lauren Turner. In my opinion, She’s the best female singer. Of course she’ll never get that recognition because that’s not who Nigel and company are pimping. Regardless, she’s in. Yay!
*Tiwan Strong and Erin Kelly are quickly lumped together. They’re both out.
*Rachel Zevita. I haven’t really considered Rachel much during this thing but what we saw of her final performance on tonight’s episode kind of pleasantly surprised me. I didn’t know she had it in her. She’s in.
*Kendra Chantelle. I haven’t really reacted to her yet. I could like her or I could not like her. I don’t even know. But she’s in.
*Jordan Dorsey (or as I like to call him King D-bag).I don’t care how well he sings, I do not like him. I will not like him. I will not even try. I thought editing was responsible for me disliking him, but tonight I know that’s not it. His idea of “confident and aggressive,” as he described himself, is not my idea of those two words. Dislike. He’s in.
*Lauren Alaina. She can sing. But I still only put her as the third-best female singer. Sorry. And I hope someone tells her to never wear that “Toddlers & Tiaras” dress again. Ever. She’s 16, not 6. She’s in of course.
*Stefano Langone. Despite earlier spoilers, he’s in.
*Jackie Wilson. I liked her when she first auditioned. Then she kind of disappeared. Then she reappeared tonight and was kind of jerky. She forgot her words during her final performance yet still argued that she shouldn’t have been eliminated. So yeah, she’s out.
*Jacob Lusk. I don’t get this guy. I think he’s talented but I feel like I’ll have to leave the room when he performs. He oversells himself. There’s a difference between not holding back and overdoing it. He overdoes it. He’s in.
*Pia Toscano. Here’s another girl that’s kind of been unjustly sidelined. She’s better than Julie and Lauren Alaina. Luckily American will get to hear that. She’s in.
*James Durbin. Dear James: You are not Adam Lambert. Stop screaming and stop singing the same songs Adam sang. He’s in.
*Casey Abrams. This guy is a freak. But in a good way. I loved his quote tonight. “I’m here to prove that people like me can be sexy,” he said. Maybe if you close your eyes. MAYBE. Seriously though, he’s a talented musician. He might be better suited in a band, but I’m willing to hear what he’s got in the mean time. He’s in.
*Thia Megia and Jessica Cunningham. The final two girls take the walk together. And gee, I wonder who is going to make it through. The 15-year-old we’ve been overexposed with or the girl we’ve NEVER seen until tonight. Thia is in. Jessica is out. Duh.
*Brett Loewenstern, Jacee Badaeux and Colton Dixon. Three strong/popular guys. One spot. They give them the usual “you’re all good,” “you’re all young,” yada yada. Brett is in. Jacee and Colton are out.

Dead Island-Trending Topic on Twitter

Dead Island is an open world video game in development by Techland for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, scheduled for a 2011 release. It is centered on the challenge of survival on a zombie-infested island.

Dead Island will feature open world gameplay, played from a first person perspective, with up to four-player co-operative play. The focus will be on melee combat, incorporating customizable weaponry and RPG elements. The game is set in the Royal Palms Resort, in fictional Banoi, located in Papua New Guinea.

Dead Island will be published by Deep Silver.
A trailer featuring the death of a young girl was criticised by Ben Parfitt of MCV, who wrote "It's a video that uses an image of a dead girl and images of her dying to create an emotional bond with a product." On the other hand, Wired exclaimed, "It may be the best videogame trailer I’ve ever seen; gorgeous, well-edited and emotionally engaging."

Dead Island is all about getting extremely up close and personal with hordes of zombies. Your arsenal is a near-endless supply of mundane items scattered across the ravaged island, including wooden oars, machetes, and the occasional gun or two. If you're feeling creative, you can combine certain items to make powerful new weapons, a la Dead Rising 2, provided you have the right blueprints. Once you have armed yourself with the deadliest vacation items imaginable, it's time to take the fight to the horde. You can fight in one of two ways--we saw both styles in action with an Xbox 360 gamepad. The first, analog, uses one analog stick for movement and the other for arm control. This unique setup looks like it will take some getting used to, but it does allow you more control over the strength and arc of each swing. The second, digital, is a more-traditional setup that will be familiar to anyone who has played console action games. The analog sticks are dedicated to movement, while all the attacks are mapped to the face buttons.
The four unlucky people you will be controlling are described as a leader, a tank, an assassin, and a jack-of-all-trades. Each of these characters brings something unique to the profession of zombie killing and can be further specialized by leveling up and progressing down one of three skill trees. The leader, for instance, can be specialized to boost his party's performance or maximize his effectiveness with the island's limited gun supply. Techland wants to give you plenty of options for dealing with the deceased by loading up each character with plenty of active skills. These skills can then be used in concert with other player's skills to devastating effect, such as using the tank's ability to knock enemies prone followed by the assassin's ability to quickly slay foes.
Our brief demo opened with a man shouting in our character's face. We had awoken in a tiny shack and were instantly aware that something terrible had happened. Apart from the man shouting, we could hear a woman's cries in the distance and some otherworldly growl issuing from beyond the shack's thin walls. Our character quickly discovered that no one here had any idea what was going on. Determined to figure this out, the character snatched up a nearby metal pipe and turned to face whatever was happening outside. Beyond the doorway's illusion of safety, two men were struggling to keep a pack of zombies from clawing their way inside. Without a moment's hesitation, our character plunged into the fray, striking wildly at every rotting face within arm's reach.

Every swing of our character's arm carried with it numerous consequences. Most apparent were the gruesome cuts and gashes that we were carving on our victims. The game's damage modeling seems extensive and, in a twisted way, very satisfying. Each enemy has a health bar and a stamina bar. Draining all of an enemy's health will kill it, while draining its stamina will only incapacitate it temporarily. Our hero also had his own health and stamina bars, and as he fought, our stamina began to drain, which resulted in less-damaging attacks. His pipe, which had entered this battle straight and clean, had also degraded into a bent, gore-covered mess. Normal weapons will degrade with use and eventually break unless repaired at a workbench, but the aforementioned pipe was not so fortunate.
The last zombie finally fell just as we were approaching our limits. However, it was obvious that even with the immediate threat neutralized the survivors wouldn't be able to hold out long in this simple hut. They would need to be moved, and to do that we received our first quest to locate a key card needed to open up a larger facility. The quest structure in Dead Island is being designed to flow at your own pace. The entirety of the island will be open from the start, and you can stick to the main quest line or explore this open world and deviate down the numerous side quests as you see fit. However, just before we set out, a sudden flash, a vision, dropped us in yet another unfamiliar surrounding. Computer monitors lined the walls around us, and an ominous, booming voice growled questions at us. Were we willing to kill? Who were we willing to kill? What if it were someone we loved? And with that, the vision ended, just as abruptly as it had begun.
After our character's senses cleared, we realized that a man nearby was barricaded inside his truck, and that a pack of zombies was about to flip it faster than a horde of drunk teenagers on spring break. Our character entered the fight armed with a wooden oar and, after a brief skirmish, left with a bloody, wooden stump. To show his gratitude for being rescued, the man took us to a workbench where we happened upon some blueprints for an electric machete. It just so happens that our character had picked up a machete on our way here, and after rummaging through a few boxes, he produced some tape, batteries, and wire. The resulting combination sliced and diced just like before but could now also stun enemies for a brief time.
Armed with this new weapon, our character quickly racked up enough experience to level up. With that new level came new skills--in this case, the ram skill, which let the character charge through crowds of undead, and the payback skill, which increased his stamina when his health was low. The road to the key card was a long one, and it quickly became apparent that our lone hero didn't have the stamina to fight off an entire island of undead on his own. After collecting the tiny slip of plastic, he ended up putting the ram skill through its paces as he charged toward the potential safe house the card was designed to unlock. Any hopes of rest and reprieve were quickly shattered when the metal shutters opened to reveal a massive, hulking zombie within. Fade to black…this is where our demo ended.

In the twisted world of Dead Island, you and your cohorts are not superheroes. You're just ordinary people placed in extraordinary circumstances, not unlike the unfortunate protagonists found in some of the game's inspirations--including the Walking Dead graphic novels and the Lost television series. More than headshots or bunny hops, the most important skill to master is conservation. You'll need to spend your energy wisely to make the most of it before having to fall back and rest up. And all the joys of zombie slaying can be enjoyed with up to three friends through drop-in, drop-out online cooperative play. Round up all your survival gear, grab your sturdiest boat oar, and prepare to set sail for Dead Island on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC later this year.

Dead Island now on Twitter Trending Topic.

FA CUP : Easy Steps of The Two Giants Team

Two of the giants team England, Manchester United and Arsenal, will face a relatively easy opponent in the fifth round of the FA Cup. But given the tight schedule, there will be a separate calculation. Crawley Town will entertain Manchester United at Old Trafford Stadium, Saturday (19/02/2011). Considering the opponent from Division-class conference, the fifth level in English football pyramid, then the MU is favored to win obviously. Given the host factors and the quality of players, then the MU is not expected to issue over Crawley. The question is, who the players down manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

From experience against Southampton in the fourth round, Ferguson made eight changes from the team that played in the Premier League a few days earlier. The same thing he expected to do this weekend. Amplifiers players like goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard, Jonny Evans, Fabio da Silva, Darron Gibson and 'Chicharito' Javier Hernandez is expected to graze. This can make a big player like Wayne Rooney or Nemanja Vidic could break due on Wednesday (23 / 2), The Red Devils will travel to Marseille in the Champions League first leg perdelapanfinal. Step easy to predict Arsenal will also be met even though the Gunners have to play away to fellow London team, Leyton Orient, Sunday (20 / 2). Leyton is a team from League One, two castes below the Premier League.

Just like Manchester United, Arsenal also clamped a tight schedule. On Wednesday (16 / 2), Arsene Wenger's troops had just those who are very involved deal with Barcelona. As a result, the squad layer will also be an option to wait for Wenger in Leyton. "There will be some rotation We'll see what can be done .. We played on Sunday, Wednesday, Sunday again. But I've been showing the same believe me when I told every player," said Wenger on Arsenal's website. When Arsenal and Manchester United meet the opponent easily, not so with Chelsea. 'The Blue' still must serve Everton in fourth round replay. What is troublesome, the party which took place on Saturday (19 / 2) trip took place before the Blues to the headquarters perdelapanfinal FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday (22 / 2).

Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me Lyrics
Hey, over there, please forgive me
If I’m coming on too strong
Here to stare, but you’re winning
And they play my favorite song
So come near, little closer
Wanna whisper in your ear
Say it clear, little question
Wanna know just how you feel
(Chorus)
If I said my heart was beating loud
If we could escape the crowd somehow
If I said I want your body now
Would you hold it against me?
Cuz you feel like paradise
And I need a vacation tonight
So if I said I want your body now
Would you hold it against me?
Hey, you might think, that I’m crazy
But I think you’re just my type
I might be, little hazy
But you just cannot deny
There’s a spark in between us
When we’re dancing on the floor
I want more, wanna see it
So I’m asking you tonight
Chorus
