Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 in his Facebook accounts wrote that Blink182 are almost finished recording their sixth album. "I am very pleased. We have in the position to mixing and finalyze some songs. Mark Hppus continued, "We'll give this album to the label on July 31, so it can be sung in our tour. This collection of new songs are the best results of all the recordings we have done. Glad to do it all together," he explained . Blink182 had previously said that they would bring the materials for the first time in their new album while on tour in the UK without waiting for their new album finished. Blink 182's sixth album is the first LP album, after the last release in 2003.
Mark Hoppus explained yet-untitled album will feature songs that relate to the dark events of the band members since their last album. We've been through a lot of things that are very heavy during the last few years. So many hard thing contribute the material of the album. We are still in the process of writing, we already have about three or four songs already completed work on. I'm not saying this will be our darkest recording, but this is our heavy recording. Mark added that the fans will still recognize the new Blink 182's music. There are some songs sounded like on our last album, there are also like our album ten years ago and there are also voices that we have never put on any album.
