Katy Perry Husband, Deported from Japan

British comedy actor Russell Brand (35), husband of American singer Katy Perry, prohibited from entering Japan, on Sunday (22/05/2011) local time because of past criminal record. Brand Perry flew to Tokyo, Japan, in order to tour his wife into the country music. However, Brand is prevented by immigration officials at Narita airport, Tokyo, and herded into a private room there, where he later stated was not allowed into Japan. It is unclear whether or not the deportation was linked to cases of indecent acts or drug abuse committed by Brand in 2001. While waiting to leave Japan, Brand joked via his Twitter account, "Planning escape from Japanese custody. It's bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick."
