Lorenzo Is Back, Yamaha Began To Rise Again

Lorenzo is back! Jorge Lorenzo deserved to be happy with the fantastic victory at the Italian GP on Sunday (03/07/11). The fighting spirit he showed during the race 23 laps at Mugello Circuit, gives remarkable results, because he finally climbed the number one podium. That was Lorenzo's first victory in a dry race in the 2011 season. These brilliant results achieved by the defending champion, after he suffered bad luck at Silverstone circuit and accident tragedy with Marco Simoncelli in Assen. He show the world that Yamaha began to rise again. Indeed, early in the race Lorenzo's performance is less convincing. Casey Stoner left him and again Stoner's team mate Andrea Dovizioso also left Lorenzo behind in the third place. But entering the 17th lap, Lorenzo left not only Andrea Dovizioso but also left Stoner who lead the race from the start of the race, and eventually became the winner.

It is so special, because in the last three or four races, is a very difficult time for us, said Lorenzo, 250cc the former twice world champion class. On the race I will give all I the best I can. Now I have energy. It's hard to overtake the Andrea and Casey with hard braking, so I try to pass them in the downhill part and eventually all went well. I want to thank Yamaha for all their business to me, by giving the best motorcycle. The victory in the eighth series makes Lorenzo cut the gap point with Stoner, who is still firmly on top. Now they are only 19 points adrift.
